I had the same problem on one of my machine, but I can't find a solution. The message is correct because the certificate is not trusted but instead of the error should display a warning. The problem should be related to the operating system or office.

As an alternative, download the source code. Open the solution in Visual studio.
Delete the key file and create a new key file with the same name.
Compile and run the assembly. Fixed :)

Another work-around is to righ-click on every file extraced from teh deployment and "Unblock" each one individually.
